Plarium Global Ltd has landed a pretty high-profile face to be their latest pilot in action mobile game Mech Arena. World-renowned footballer Neymar Jr will be swapping diving on the pitch for diving into the chaos of robot rumbles.

Widely regarded as one of the best football players in the world, Neymar Jr will join Mech Arena as their strongest pilot to date. To reflect his speed and skill on the pitch, his pilot will come with abilities to boost both damage and speed. Neymar will also come with the maximum number of implant slots, for game-changing implant skills.

When discussing the new collab, Plariums VP of Business Development, Ronen Gross, said: “We are honoured and excited to have such an amazing talent joining as a pilot in Mech Arena. Neymar Jr. is one of the best athletes in the world. His professionalism and desire to win are what made us choose him as it is aligned with the game’s spirit. In a rather surprising and respectable move, Plarium has opted to not make the new pilot a cash shop item. Instead, everyone will be able to obtain the Neymar Jr Pilot free by taking part in a 7-day Pilot Chase or, to put it simply, a login campaign. By logging in for 7 days before December 18th, players will receive six Neymar-themed Mech skins and then the man himself on day 7.
