XD Entertainment Pte Ltd has announced the release of the latest season of its 3v3 hero shooter, T3 Arena. This new season, Transform, brings a huge content drop, providing a bevvy of new features such as a new map and most importantly, a brand new player.
T3 Arena has been cutting out a decent market for itself since its release back in May on iOS and TapTap, with its recent subsequent launch on Google Play only adding to its growing player base. With an emphasis on 3-minute matches for frantic, play-anywhere matches and its own built-in voice chat to make teamwork a breeze, T3 is priming itself as a contender to the more established shooters.
Season 3 brings a lot of new content, but the most interesting is the release of the latest playable hero; the Gatling gun wielder Gatlyn. This half-human, half-mech hybrid can unleash hell upon her enemies with the sheer speed her weapon produces, and her active ability Uber Charge only adds to the misery, charging all her shots to increase damage.
Not content with just being an offensive powerhouse, Gatlyns ultimate ability, Force Field, deploys a force field that blocks all incoming attacks, allowing her to dish out damage in complete safety. This makes Gatlyn and her skills immensely powerful, if not overly creatively named. The bad news is she is only available by reaching level 30 in the Premium Battle Pass.
Players lucky enough to earn Gatlyn can take her into the Gigamine Cave, the newest map based in a mysterious factory and mine. A new location can be dangerous, so the new social features introduced will be a big help with getting a team together. The Share Now button in the event menu will allow everyone to invite their friends to play and earn them 20 gems. There is also an invite code that can be given out, which will earn invite rewards after 120 in-game trophies have been earned.
T3 Arena is available to download now from the App Store, Google Play and TapTap.
