Ubisoft has announced the release of two rather fitting new epic crossover characters for the platform fighter Brawlhalla, just in time for the spooky season. Hailing from the iconic Konami Castlevania series, Simon Belmont and Alucard will be fighting it out to prove who is mightier; vampire or hunter.

Simon Belmont comes in as a crossover for Jhala, bringing the skills expected from one of the prominent vampire hunter clans. Wielding the Morning Star of the Belmonts, Simon is able to use Holy Water to cause explosions, dealing massive damage to enemies. His second weapon, a Battle Axe, can be used to set up a devastating combo attack with his Vampire Killer whip.

Alucard steps in for Ezio as one of the most recognisable vampire characters of all time. Despite standing against his father, Dracula, on the side of good, Alucard can still use his vampiric powers to swiftly dispose of his enemies. Using his Ghost Familiar Orb, Alucard can turn into a bat to swoop upon his foe, or send a fireball at his enemies to open them up for a sickening claw swipe. He can also wield his signature sword, delivering swift attacks to his opponent before buffeting them away with a blast from his bat wings.

In addition to the exciting new characters, a new Crossover Event has also begun, bringing Dracula’s Castle to Brawhalla as a new stage for all stages, and the Inverted Dracula’s Castle for 1v1 battles. There will also be four new avatars to pick up, and a new Vampire Bat sidekick for the full vampire experience. All those items will be available to purchase even after the event ends, and the maps will also be sticking around for those yearning for some new Castlevania content.

Brawhalla is available to download now on the App Store and Google Play.
