As if running from a hail of bullets was not terrifying enough, battle royale New State Mobile has teamed up with Interactive Incs horror survival game Dead By Daylight to make the gunplay a lot more frightening.
Dubbing itself the Fright For Survival, in a truly commendable bit of wordplay, players will be able to obtain a plethora of Dead By Daylight-themed items until November 24th. Items such as helmets, backpacks, parachutes and of course the trusty frying pan will all be up for grabs, alongside costumes based on some of the horror game killers. By completing special missions it will also be possible to unlock special profile effects to really show off the Halloween spirit.
Not only does this update celebrate the spooky season, but it also marks the first anniversary of the New State Mobiles launch. Throughout November there will be a total of 15 missions unveiled periodically to complete, as well as special anniversary costumes, parachutes and weapon skins. Whilst the event is live, a special lobby background and music will be played, and any player that logs in between the 1st and 13th of November will obtain the Kinda Cute Dance for free.
The New State Labs will also be showcasing its newest feature, the Recruit Mode. In this mode, based in Akinta, recruitment will be given a massive boost. Not only will recruit speed be twice as fast, cut down to 5 seconds but the recruitment cap will be raised to 8. If that wasn’t enough, a player's HP and boost will recover to 100% after successful recruitment, which sounds like a game-changer definitely worth giving a whirl.
New State Mobile is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. Anyone interested in checking out the full patch notes can read them on the official website, or can check out the rundown video on YouTube.
