If you are already bored of Christmas permeating every facet of life with songs and movies every which way you look, The Baby in Yellow has you covered with a Christmas update that is a little bit different. Instead of celebrating the season with your young charge, you will instead be forced to fend off new winter-flavoured horrors, with a few new toys and costumes to collect as well.

The Baby in Yellow was a surprise hit, bringing a Lovecraftian-inspired twist to babysitting. Originally created by two ex-Rockstar developers in 48 hours, you take on the role of a childminder who finds themselves looking after a demon-possessed baby, trying to feed them, play with them and put them to bed as some dark goings on try to hinder you at every step.

As it is now Christmas, you will have to prepare for this joyous time by cooking a delicious turkey, decorating the tree, getting presents ready and, of course, battling an evil snowman in a snowball fight to the end. This inclusion alone surely makes this one of the best Christmas updates we have seen.

If you manage to survive this unorthodox holiday, you will receive a plethora of new goodies, including new toys to interact with such as race cars, toy aeroplanes and some foam dart guns. You even have the chance to dress the demon baby up as an elf, and who can be scared of a floating elf child?

As you play through the update be sure to keep an eye out for any new teaser content for the upcoming major March 2023 patch, The Black Cat. Whilst not much more concrete information has been released yet, there may be a treat or two in store.

The Baby in Yellow is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
