Gumi inc has announced the latest collaboration to grace its long-running tactical RPG The Alchemist Code. Players will be able to summon exclusive units from The Rising of The Shield Hero Season 2, as well as take part in a bunch of crossover event quests.
This is not the first time that these two series have crossed over, with The Alchemist Code having collaborated with the original series of Shield Hero back in December 2020. Whilst some of the features may look familiar to any of the more veteran players, Season 2 does bring more units to summon.
The tritagonists of Shield Hero return from the original event for summoning, with main character Naofumi and his perma party members Raphtalia and Filo up for grabs once again. Coming along for the ride this time are Filo, Melty and Fitoria, some of Naofumis’ most steadfast allies. You will also be able to enjoy some exclusive Challenge Boards, Login Bonuses and Giveaways.
Anyone who wants to recruit the Second Princess of Melromarc herself, Melty Q Melromarc will need to clear the special collaboration events, upon which she will be earnt for free. You can also gather Gears, Collaboration Unit Soul Shards and Limited Player Titles. To get the rest of the crossover units, you will need to test your luck with summons.
For those who are looking for a tougher challenge, The Alchemia Port Raid guild event will test your metal against enemies that appear during The Waves of Apocalyptic Catastrophe or Waves. If that isn’t your speed, you can take on the collaboration-exclusive monster Soul Eater, one of Naofumis’ most tricky adversaries. If you manage to defeat this foe, you will earn a Collab Limited Title.
The Alchemist Code is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
