Hoyoverse has announced the impending finale for Part 1 of Honkai Impact 3rd’s main story. Countless hours and endless battles have led to this climatic battle in the fight to reclaim the Earth, with new threats emerging from Project Stigma and Chimera to throw even more fuel onto the fire.
Volume 1’s final verse, Story Chapter XXV, comes with the arrival of the game's newest version, fittingly titled Toward a New Tomorrow. Kiana and the Valkyries have fought hard to make their way to the Cocoon of Finality to try and reclaim the Earth, however, one final foe stands in front of them. Standing before them wielding the original authority of Finality is the truly awe-inspiring foe, Kevin.
To help combat the almighty Kevin, you will have a chance to obtain Kiana in her most powerful form, the Herrscher of Finality. An IMG-type Fire DMG deal that packs pistols and a sword, Kiana is able to switch between her Moon Blade and Time Flint stances after she performs a Combo ATK, each with unique effects. This Finality form is Kiana as she was in her origins, an upbeat and happy individual, ready and hope to fight for the future.
Alongside Kiana, Mei has also reached new heights in power, debuting her Herrscher of Origin form. She is also an IMG-type, staying with her usual Lighting DMG as she wields Wing Blades to carve through her opponents with her unrivalled sword mastery. Using Mind Body Insight Mei will charge up her Wing Blades in battle, and at full charge can cast Regressive Origin. This allows her to cast an extra Sin of Killing for some powerful damage over time.
Players will also be able to benefit from a few special bonuses to commemorate this occasion, such as the limited-time bridge theme Above the Moon, stigmata recommended for Herrscher of Origin and the Herrscher of Original Character Card. You can also take part in the Bustling Holiday Symphony, featuring an arcade shooter mini-game to enjoy.
