PopReach Corporation has announced the Australian soft launch of the first mobile entry of the iconic crime series, Payday Crime War. Officially licensed from Starbreeze Studios AB, Crime War brings all the fun of intense heists straight to the palm of your hand.

For those who have never played the Payday series, you are missing out. One of the most popular co-op shooter franchises ever, Payday lets you forgo everyday laws and morals to instead pull off a variety of heists with the goal of simply getting rich. You can target jewellery stores, art galleries, and eventually banks as you level up your characters and unlock new skills to help you complete your dreaded crime wave.

Payday Crime War takes the fun of the main series and brings it across to mobile devices perfectly, losing nothing that makes it unique. You can browse the crime database and find a catalogue of classic heists from Payday and Payday 2 to pull off with your team on the go.

Choose between carefully planning the stealthy route to not get caught, or trusting in your marksmanship and going loud instead, either way, is very fun. For the first time in the series, you will also be able to take on other heisters in 4v4 PvP if the computer is getting a little too easy for you.

When commenting on the mobile entry, the CEO of Starbreeze, Tobias Sjögren, said "A key strategy of Starbreeze is to enable more players to be able to experience the PAYDAY saga. The talented team at PopReach has worked hard to capture the spirit of the franchise and deliver a truly mobile PAYDAY experience, putting the ability to heist in the palm of your hand, anytime, anywhere".

Payday Crime War is a free-to-play game with a few in-app purchases, and unfortunately in-game advertising, however, that is a small price to pay for a series like this. With Payday 3 coming this year, make sure you download Crime War now from the App Store and Google Play to hone your heist skills.
