To prepare for their highly anticipated update later this month, Metacore Games have produced a new line of adverts for their puzzle game Merge Mansion. Directed by Martin Werner and staring Pedro Pascal, Metacore is sparing no expense to make this an update to remember.

Pedro Pascal has definitely been at a lofty height in his career lately, with recent leading roles in Narcos, The Mandalorian, The Last of Us, and a successful role in Game of Thrones before it went off a cliff. He has even broken into the coveted meme market recently, so Metascore managing to nab him for their adverts is a pretty big get.

This series of adverts is the latest in Metacore's star-studded range, with Kathy Bates staring in some pretty enticing versions last year. They all seem to follow the pattern of turning the game's animated adverts into live-acted ones, and honestly, it really works. Metacore have produced some of the most interesting adverts in gaming, and it’s worth trying the game almost for them alone.

The adverts are cut into three unique versions and follow the exploits of Detective Tim Rockford, played by Pascal, as he investigates the mysterious Boulton family. This first advert features Rockford interrogating Grandma in a sadly Kathy Bates-less role, interviewing neighbours, and stepping into the Boulton mansion.

To further mark this milestone update coming March 28, Metacore has transformed the famed Paramour Estate into the Boulton family mansion to put on an immersive show that is a Chimera of live-action theatre, escape room, and lore museums. The Metacore team will also be joined by Pascal as well as some as-yet unannounced guests.
