We all enjoy a stop of just stupid mayhem from time to time, and this latest team-up from Stumble Guys will have that in spades. Joining forces with acclaimed dart toys NERF, a new shooter arena and game mode has been released, and it looks like an incredibly good time.

If you have never played Stumble Guys before, you are missing out. It is a party game where you compete against a lobby of other players in obstacle courses, skill games, races and more. You can dress up your little Guy in outlandish costumes and whip out obnoxious emotes, all in the name of fun. There are no prizes for guessing where the inspiration came from, and in some ways, Stumble Guys is an improvement and one you should try, especially with this new update.

Without a grab mechanic, you could only mildly inconvenience your competitors, however, that's out the window now thanks to this team-up with Nerf. Not only can you now obstruct foes, you are also obligated to suit up with various guns and let loose those foamy missles of justice, much like we all wish we could do every day.

As the trailer shows, there are three types of blasters you can grab; the rapid-fire one, a close-ranged shotgun-looking deal, and from the look of some of the bullet lines, a longer-ranged rifle. It also wouldn’t have escaped your notice that this particular mode is in first-person mode, which is definitely ideal for this type of stage.

The action unfolds on the new Blaster Base map, a specially-made arena with obstacles to take cover around, and a few new boosts to keep you in the game. You can pick up shields to protect you from your opponent's darts, and ones to regain Energy to keep you in the fight. This is definitely a mode that you will want to try.
