In virtually all team-based games, as beloved as the glass canon, heavy hitters are, it is the support characters that really anchor the group, and boy has Netmarble released two support superstars in the latest update for The King of Fighters Allstar.

If you are looking to bolster your Yellow teams then Lady Goenitz is one to pull for. A Balance type Yellow, her leader skill increases ATK and Critical Hit Rate for all Yellow characters. Paired with her battle card that increases Critical Hit Rate after using a skill, Goenitz can hold her own whilst buffing her allies. The battle card also works well with her unique skill, which increases her ATK and Finisher Skill damage after using a Blast Skill, so you will want to skill spam as much as your can.

XV Chizuru Kagura is also a top pick for team support, but this time for Red characters. Another Balance type, her support also extends to Three Sacred Treasure Fighters, so she has a little more range in team options. Her unique Skill will increase her teammate's Attack rate after landing an Active Skill to those who are in the Starlight state, which is pretty nice. What's better though, is that Active Skills also decrease cooldowns of other active skills, which paired with her battle card that increases Critical Damage rate for all after using a skill gives you an insane skill nuking team.

To get to know these characters more, the Unbreakable Chains Rush Dungeon will feature both of these new recruits. As you complete the Rush stages, you will get yourselves some event coins to redeem for some cool prizes, such as event set cards.

When you get your new teams built around both these MVP characters, you can challenge the new in-game events. The Aegis Challenge is a new growth system that increases stats to be used in Aegis Challenge Dungeons. The more damage your do, the better rewards, so pump those stats.
