Tower of Fantasy is coming out hard for its 3.0 expansion, launching today. Wanderers will be able to explore a brand new, technologically advanced realm, recruit wo powerful new party members, and experience some overhauls to the combat system.

Venture deep into the Vera Grand Sea, arrive at the Aida Spacetime Singularity, and within you will find Domain 9. Whilst a regular place on the surface, this land has been isolated for over 100 years, becoming a technological powerhouse. With the help of their sophisticated technology dubbed Timestamps, they fight tirelessly against the Greyspace menace known as the Darkness.

As you explore this new locale, you will pass through four distinct zones, each inspired by the Four Symbols, the mythical creatures of an ancient culture. You will almost instantly bear witness to the awesome technological might of Domain 9, complete with new puzzles and challenges. Combat will be getting a big injection of help in the form of the New Smart Servant System and the New Mentorship System, just in time too, as the mighty Zhuyan has awoken in the Black Jade Ruins.

Our first new simulacrum is called LiuHuo and is introduced to us through probably the best trailer Tower of Fantasy has released so far. She bears a giant burden, being responsible for overseeing the captured darkness, but there is no one better suited for it. In battle, she wields a rather unique weapon, a Caligraphy brush, and is able to use ink to vanquish her enemies.

The second simulacrum comes from a wildly acclaimed background. Touted as one of Domain 9’s most successful fighters, Yulan will beat anyone who challenges her might, and leave them admiring her as she does. She comes equipped with the most technologically advanced weapon from Domain 9, which can create an airstream when used with timestamps.
