If there is one type of game that will always dominate the market, that is gacha games because we can’t get enough of those minuscule odds, and Snowbreak: Containment Zone is shaping up to continue this trend, announcing astonishing pre-order numbers and a worldwide tour.
Since it was opened, Snowbreak has racked up an eye-watering 2 million pre-registered players, an incredible number. To say thank you, anyone who signs up will receive a nice collection of rewards including a special weapon airdrop, 5 Operative Recruitment Chits, and Lyfe Bestla’s Interstellar Voyager Outfit.
On top of this decent little bundle of goodies, anyone who manages to clear the fifth chapter in the main storyline upon launch will be able to claim an orange-tier SSR character. These will sport a unique exoskeleton that brings special ability bonuses, so it is well worth doing. Those in the line-up include Wildhunt Lyfe, Swift Marian, and Winter Solstice Yao.
Something that I personally always like to see is when developers take on feedback, and this is something Amazing Seasun seems to take on bored. They have announced a series of upcoming optimizations and new features based on player experiences, with tweaks such as a new reward event for main story progress, a better tutorial, and clearer combat guidance being on the docket.
At the time of writing, Amazing Seasun is currently set up at the Anime Expo in Las Angeles, complete with a five and a half feet tall Lyfe figure, so you can’t miss them if you want to take part in a few events to win Snowbreak merch such as t-shirts, tote bags, and mouse pads, your standard expo gifts. After the Expo, the developers and no doubt Lyfe will be heading to Bilbili World and Gamers Con at the end of July, as well as Comic Market 102 and the Players Meeting in Seoul in mid-August.
To join the army of pre-registries for Snowbreak: Containment Zone, head to the App Store and Google Play before launching on July 20th.
