Almost since launch, Vikingard has been punctuated by its crossovers with the Vikings series, however, all good things must come to an end. In July 2023, the third and final collaboration will take place, putting players in a heated battle to claim the title of King of Kattegat.

This third crossover places you in the midst of The Final War, a bloody close to the Kattegat Civil War that saw family face family to become king. The event will take place across four battles, with the victor advancing to more challenging fights, aiming to become King of Kattegat. You can earn daily rewards by logging in, and completing the event will earn you a new Hersir Avatar, App Icon, and Avatar Border.

Whilst being a powerful shield-maiden in combat, where our first new character, Torvi, shines most is her keen intellect. Her perception is honed enough that she can spot potential threats and attacks well in advance, and she is well-versed in preventing disagreements from getting out of hand. All her skills elevated her to Lagertha's second-in-command, and she will make a fine addition to your forces.

Our second new character is almost the opposite of Torvi’s calm temperament. Ivar is the youngest of Ragnar's children and was born with weak bones and twisted knees, earning the nickname Boneless. As he grew, he became sadistic and bloodthirsty, wanding into battle on chariots or prop legs and relishing in the carnage. A brutal fighter and cunning tactician, a spot in your team would not be a waste.

If you want a break from the tension, then head to Jotunheimr on the Snowy Mountain trail. You will be able to craft exquisite gear at Dvergr’s Forgee and battle the mighty Jotnar Trolls. Or take part in the Mjolnir Awakens event, and help restore power to Thor’s legendary hammer. You will be rewarded handsomely for it, including receiving Flokis’ Forever King outfit.
