Version 1.2 is heading for Honkai: Star Rail on July 19th, and brings with it a great threat for the flagship Xianzhou Luofu. Trailblazers must fight to prevent an apocalyptic tragedy that could spell the end for not just one ship but for all of your allies.
The Xianzhou Luofu revolves around immortality, so of course, something bad was going to happen at some point. A disaster now threatens the ship and as a result the whole Alliance. Trailblazers will have to explore the Alchemy Commission and the Scalgorge Waterscape, in a race to reach the core of the Stelleron disaster before it is too late.
To help in your fight, three new characters are available to recruit. Our first is the mysterious hunter Blade. After stumbling onto eternal life, he gained the ability to heal from all injury and illness, a skill this five-star Path of Destruction Wind character uses well in combat. By sacrificing his own HP, he can deal massive damage to enemies.
After appearing in the story before, our next hero is the fearless Kafka. On the Path of Nahility, she is a five-star Lightning type who can dish out ferocious AOE damage over time. Any enemies already under this effect will receive additional damage from Kafka, and her Ultimate deals Lightning damage to all with a chance of Shocking her opponents.
Finally, after their stint in the Summer Game Fest, Luka makes his way onto the roster. A four-star Physical fighter, also on the Path of Nihility, follows Kafka's example and can inflict Bleed on his opponents for damage over time. In battle, Luka's basic attack will be buffed after landing multiple hits, and his Ultimate deals damage whilst lowering an enemy's defence for a set number of turns.
Form your new team, and take them into the numerous new events to celebrate this update. Tales of Fantastic will see Mr Xiyan spin a tale of the Astral Express and the Underground Treasure Hunt is a relic-seeking challenge with a theme Chat Box reward. The Forgotten Hall expands with The Voyage of Navis Astriger, giving the four-star Yukong as a reward, and finally, the Simulated Universe gets an update with World 7 bringing exclusive new Ornaments as prizes.
