After quite a long time buddying up with Fortnite, it is time for PUBG Mobile to get some time with one of the world's most popular anime series; Dragon Ball. Specifically Dragon Ball Super, Version 2.7 will be bringing a host of new modes, items, areas and more to PUBG Mobile in one of their biggest partnerships yet.
The first new mode starts July 13th until September 4th, and budding Super Saiyans will be able to collect the seven Dragon Balls in PUBGs battle royale mode, and then summon the almighty Shenron. The wish-granting dragon will then bestow upon you some powerful buffs for the match, greatly increasing your odds.
Being Dragon Ball, you will need to keep an eye on your Ki. This new resource will give you access to enhanced mobility, the Buku-jutsu to allow you to fly at running speeds, and even unleash the legendary Kamehameha. If you run low on energy, simply find a Senzu Bean scattered around to restore health and energy.
Our second mode will kick off July 15th until September 4th, and will completely transform the game. Taking place on an animated art-style battlefield, players will choose to play as one of five Dragon Ball Super characters to duke it out with their unique main and support moves. There is of course Goku, Piccolo, Ultimate Gohan, Frieza, and the best of the bunch, Vegeta.
Outside of new modes, you will be able to deck yourself out in a whole new wardrobe of outfits and items, featuring Son Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and even items inspired by Pilaf on Korin. These new items will be added on July 14th, however, there will be more to come from the collaboration on August 11th.
PUBG Mobile can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
