ASOBIMO Inc, the masters of mobile anime games probably most known for Toram or Iruna Online, has released a trailer introducing players to three of the main characters from the upcoming action RPG Metria. For those monolingual amongst us, don’t forget to watch with subtitles for translation.

The character most hit by that RPG protagonist brush is Rio Calquinos, an apprentice who is striving to become an Astra Knight. He has inherited the power of legendary heroes, however was unable to defend the royal capital when it was invaded and had to flee with his friends. They now work to dispatch their enemies and restore the city.

Joining Rio is his childhood friend Lucas Nizam. Despite having a challenging upbringing, and being kicked around a lot growing up, Lucas developed into a serious and level-headed young man, becoming an Astra Knight and acting as the dependable rock for his group. In battle, he wields his spear to deal some deadly water aspected damage.

Our final character is a bit of a mystery; the demi-human Aru. This acrobatic feline uses her bow to unleash a barrage of arrows for AOE dominance. Not much is known about her, with Aru tagging along with Rio for reasons known only to her. She is short of words, however, it is abundantly clear that she does not lack ego when she speaks.

At the time of writing, Metria has over 100k pre-registrations, unlocking five of their milestones. If you sign up, you will find yourself with 10,000 Lunas for in-game currency, 6,000 Star Stones for the shop, 100 Potions for those scrapes, and one Book of Hermits to level up your favourite character. At 200k players, should it achieve this goal, everyone will get the exclusive tarot Amidst Memory Blossoms.

Metria is available to pre-order now from the App Store and Google Play. Whilst the App Store has an expected release of November 7th, it is worth noting this doesn’t seem to have been confirmed by ASOBIMO anywhere else. Either way, time is short to get those bonuses.
