If you have ever dreamed about becoming Two-Face from the DC universe but want your coin flips to have a bit more personality about them, then Indolent Games has you covered with their new app Live by the Spin. Part-game and part-lifestyle app, you will never have to delay any choice again.
Whilst most coin flips are a dull affair, where let's face it you might lose the penny doing it, Live by the Spin jazzes up that process with the inclusion of fully acted CGI clips during and after the event. Your choices will be in the capable hands of Neil Bell, an actor with lofty titles such as Dune and Star Wars: Andor under his belt.
Before each flip, you get to input the question you need a decision on, and also select which of the nine unique characters played by Bell you want to get your answer from. You can choose out of such options as the semi-holy advice of a defrocked vicar, or the weary advice of a ghost who even beyond the veil can’t catch a break.
As well are serving as an entertaining way to choose between restaurants for dinner, Live by the Spin also functions as an interactive trailer for Indolents' upcoming FMV game; Clive is a Good Guy, due out January 25th. It centres around one man and the nine different personas in his mind, which he pits against each other in an existential reality show. It sounds like quite an amusing game and is backed by music by sanodg, a veteran of the Drakengard and Tekken franchises.
Download Live by the Spin from the App Store and Google Play to never have to carry a coin around with you again. Just don’t try and stuff your phone in a trolly coin slot.
