Putting on a masterclass of just slightly missing the boat, poncle has announced the release of a collaboration between their hit game Vampire Survivors, and the global phenomenon of the 2020 dark days, Among Us. The buzz may have died down a bit for the space-based caper, but there is still more than enough fun to be had here.

The Survivors are still hungry to hunt vampires, and the only place to go is up. Emergency Meeting introduces a host of classic Among Us tasks and gives them an injection of bullet hell mayhem, all set on the new Polus Replica map, where nothing is as it seems and everything is out to get you. Even the bin.

To explore this vast nothingness, there are a huge nine new characters to choose between. Dino is a Crewmate who boosts stats when completing a task or you can enjoy some passive tools with Engineer Gino. If you want to start on a really positive foot, pick Ghost Lino, the deceased crewmate. They can neither deal nor receive damage, and isn't that very sus?

For those supportive few, Guardian Pina increases their nearby ally defences, or you can instead cause trouble as Scientist Mina and drop hazardous chemicals everywhere. Finally, we have two characters who are clearly not dodgy at all. Master the art of disguise as Shapeshifter Nino, or just live out your entirely usual, normal, everyday crewmate life as the not-at-all-suspiciously-named Imposter Rina.

In addition to these new players, kit yourself out with 15 unique space-based weaponry acquired from completing your tasks like a good crewmate. Go all gung-ho on your foes and slice them in two with the Lucky Swipe, bamboozle them with your Report! soundwaves, or rather hilarious simply dump them with the Just Vent. There are Mini Crewmates who will even upgrade them for you if you can trust them.

Vampire Survivors is available to download from the App Store and Google Play and grab the DLC for $1.99.
