The Aurora Borealis is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world, and it is also universally expected that the best way to increase this viewing pleasure is by having a massive gunfight under it. Enter New State Mobiles' latest update.

As you drop into Erangel, you have a chance of it being the new Aurora variant, bringing a beautiful new background to the standard mayhem. Playing under this new look will grant you a 50% increase in tier points earned, however, a defeat will also have a 20% increase in points lost, so bring your A game. The training mode can help with that, thanks to its new patterns in the shooting gallery to try out.

It is not just this new look that Erangel has going for it, the map as a whole is getting a change. The play zone will now decrease 10% faster, and there will be a huge 20% more item spawns. Put these both together and they will result in a much more intense fighting experience. It might also cut down on those pesky campers which is never a bad thing,

In most shooters, it is pretty much a given that if you want to equip a suppressor, you are going to have to sacrifice damage. That would be crazy to deal the same damage without noise. Well, Krafton has lost its mind with a new suppressor for the M110A1 Shotgun that not only decreases sounds but also increases damage and recoil. It is an insane-sounding attachment that you need to try.

Finally, Survivor Pass Vol 26 will also launch, with a new character called Sentry. Completing the free track will net players with a character skin for them, while the Premium Pass will come with the admittedly cool-sounding costume set, Raven Queen.
