Puzzle & Dragons is giving its player base the chance to harness the power of the Eikons as characters from Final Fantasy XVI return to the fold. Bolster your army, tackle tricky new dungeons, and immerse yourself in a cavalcade of events in this latest collaboration lasting until January 15th.
There are two Collab dungeons to tackle, each rewarding you with FF Crystal Medal - Golds, and should you clear the Expert floor a pull on the Final Fantasy Egg Machine. Rack up enough medals, and you can trade them at the Monster Exchange for powerful allies such as Locke and Chocobo.
Face off against one of the franchise's toughest foes in Eikon Odin Descended, which will reward those victorious few with a Machine pull, and Odin himself. Add further to your team with the Final Fantasy Challenge that when vanquished will see you receive Yiazmat. Your final difficult challenge lies in the Colosseum, where players who use Cid Highwind as their leader will get the Airship Highwind.
After recruiting all these powerful new heroes, put them through their paces in the Skill Leveling Dungeon to get them up to speed as soon as possible. Then, chuck them into the Crystal Defenders dungeon for a chance to earn rewards such as a Red Crystal, and a pull from the Crystal Defenders machine for a slightly different flavour of Final Fantasy.
It is time to earn yourself the most intimidating title in Puzzle & Dragons history in this event Title Challenge. Using a fixed Helper, you will need to defeat this dungeon in a certain time frame, and should you succeed, you will earn the right to tag yourself with a name that will see all monsters tremble before you; Chocobo.
Speaking of one of the franchise's adorable mascots, there are four special one-shot dungeons that will get you some useful rewards. Fat Chocobo’s Gift will net you the titular chunky bird, Moogle’s Gift will get you the floating pomball itself, Gift from the Chocobos rewards you with, you guessed it, a Chocono, and Gift from the Moogles rounds of the pack with Moogle & Carbuncle.
There is an awful lot to get through, so download Puzzle & Dragons now from the App Store and Google Play.
