It's been one hundred days since Defense Derby launched and made quite the mark on the tower defence genre, and RisingWings is looking to celebrate. The Radiant Start season has launched and brings two new units, and a new Legendary Magic Human Hero, Lana.

In terms of skills, Lana brings the goods both offensively and defensively. Her Heavenly Resonance covers your castle in a shield that defends from damage, stacking depending on your max HP, whilst Divine Judgement hammers the enemy with the highest max health, and when this tagged foe dies the skill cooldown decreases. Both are pretty cool, which makes it even better that this Legendary Hero is awaiting all players in their inbox for free.

If you want a bit of Physical brawn to slot into your newly-headed Human team, then take a look at the Blacksmith. She hits slow but hard, dealing splash damage to her victims, but its her Special Ability that will make her shine. Forge increases the Attack Power of your Hero by 30%, and Attack Speed by 10%, so sticking her with a Hero like Merham could lead to some high damage action. You can draw for her now, and play the Mirror Match mode until January 11th to learn how she works.

After Blacksmith, it will be time for the Beasts to welcome their new Magic unit; Electric Monk. When they deal critical hits, their Electric Blast ability creates a magnetic field that damages surrounding units. Slot them in a team led by Aella, put them next to Minotaur and watch the sparks fly. From January 15th to 29th, you can access their Mirror Match to grips to grips with this shocking new ally.
