As it does every year, the holiday season has destroyed all sense of time, so it might seem long but it has only been two or three weeks since Stumble Guys teamed up with gaming legend Tetris, and now it has moved onto another giant. Their next team-up target is a simple little maze man, with one of the most iconic sound effects in history.

It’s time to get your waka waka one as that gluttonous yellow orb known as Pac-Man chomps his way into Stumble Guys, bringing with him a new level, cosmetics, and a special collection mechanic, because of course. Whilst we will only be getting one new level, looking at the trailer, that is all we will need.

Taking the lead from the famous game, Stumblers will be navigating a trap-filled maze with the aim of picking up as many fruits and pellets as possible to notch up the highest score, but, of course, those menacing ghosts will be hunting you down. There are two weapons available to use; one is the frankly broken ability to simply walk on the maze walls, and the second is the legendary power pellet that lets you turn the tables, and gobble some ghosts.

Compete hard enough and you will be able to dress up as the internationally recognisable characters themselves. Pick up the Pac-Man costume and become that most munchies of heroes, or give Clyde an existential crisis and dress up as a mini-ghost. You can also collect special emotes, footsteps, and victory dances.

Those more prolific pallet pilferers will do incredibly well in the limited-time collect events and tournaments, with the hungriest hunters firing up to the top of the leaderboard for glory, and then probably a food-induced nap. There are also daily missions to complete to keep you coming back for more in this team-up with another legend of gaming.
