If you have ever wanted to make money out of your ability to snatch victory from someone's hands by massively screwing them over and burying them in cards, then good news, as Mattel163 has announced the return of their annual esports tournament, UNO! Mobile Wildcard Series: Community Cup

The tournament boasts a prize pool of a nice $50,000 as well as in-game rewards worth $10 million. Qualifiers will kick off March 1st in the app, but slow your roll duelists, as only players from the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico can take part. Apparently, you can’t yell UNO loud enough across the ocean.

Players will have the chance to bamboozle their way through tournaments held once a month, to earn their place in one of the live Semi-Finals that take place in July and November - it’s a long tournament. Monthly Qualifiers will take place for the first ten days of each month.

The top four winners in each of the monthly finals will advance to the Semis for a chance to win some of the $10,000 prize pool, and also vie for one of the 16 spaces to move on to the final showdown, set to take place in the far off land of January 2025, plenty of time to practise your skills to take the crown, and some of the $30,000.00 grand prize.

Viewers across the world can also earn prizes from the tournament by simply watching the live streams. Of course, these won’t be real-world prizes, but some in-game goodies. Even still, it's not a bad use of time, getting some free presents and seeing just which player this year will be able to master the heart of the cards.
