Fresh from clobbering some fools in their current Street Fighter Duel event, those gigantic yet somehow sneaky reptiles are blowing off some steam in Stumble Guys. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be taking their acrobatic prowess to the course, marking Paramount’s second foray into the platformer, following SpongeBob SquarePants and co.

They have always been around in some form or another since the 80s, but it seems recently that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming back into the mainstream in a big way. We have the surprisingly successful Mutant Mayhem film last year, as well as the aforementioned Capcom crossover. It’s good to see these cultural icons popping up all over again.

Of course, you can’t find the TMNTs without going to their home in the sewers. The Turtle Tumble Map will see you slipping and sliding through the waterways, and if you are not careful, most likely hurtling off the edge into watery oblivion. You will need to evade the Foot Clan Ninjas and collect those divine pizza slices to get a boost over your opponents.

As you might expect, all of our favourite overly 80s heroes are joining in on the fun. You can, of course, dress up as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, but there will also be appearances from the wise Master Splinter and the vile Shredder. There are also a host of other turtle-flavoured collectables to get your hands on.

There are special Footsteps, no doubt huge turtle feet, Victory Dances which hopefully involve a lot of flips, and Emotes which you could only assume will be pizza-based. You can also take part in some limited-time Tournaments to prove you are the grooviest turtle there is, and complete daily mission milestones to earn yourself some neat rewards.
