It has been a month since Astra: Knights of Veda launched with its blend of beat-em-up and side-scrolling combat, and enjoyers of the title are already being treated to a massive new update. Prove your prowess in the Arena against other players, and take two powerful new heroes into the hallowed battlefield alongside you.

For those who need a little more firepower, the two new recruits can certainly back you up most effectively. Electric Butcher Elias can use his axe as a lightning rod, surging thunder through his enemies for critical hits. For some ranged superiority, Lightning-Fast Aurora joins the fray, using her bow to unleash rapid-fire damage to anyone in her sights.

Every week from Thursday to Sunday, players will be able to tackle the new Arena Survival mode. This legendary citadel of combat has seen brave warriors duke it out for centuries, and now it is your turn to join in the legacy.

Ten fighters with enter, alone or in teams, and do glorious battle until there is only one winner. As time goes on the battlefield will start to shrink, forcing participants to think on their feet and adjust tactics. Red Reeds can be used to hide movements to set up an ambush, and Stars of Judgment will empower combatants to deliver an almighty blow.

The Arena comes with a whole host of rewards to start racking up. The winner will receive Crowns of Victory, and there are multiple levels of progress rewards to snap up based on your final ranking. With Season 2 of The Tower of Trails coming up, with more treasures on Floors 9 to 12, you best start collecting those rewards to ready yourself for the next ascension.
