June 6th will mark 80 years since the D-Day landings in Normandy during World War II, a pivotal battle won by the Allies, but at a high cost. To mark this large-scale assault, World of Warships Legends is releasing quite a few events in June, with the chance to pick up a special ship complete with D-Day markings.

To commemorate 80 years since D-Day there will be a suite of dedicated missions to complete. Get through these, and you will earn collectable cards with the history of the landing, the ships involved, and military decorations. Get them all and you can unlock the French Tier III battleship Courbet 1944, complete with a permanent D-Day camouflage. You can also find the Texas, Belfast, and the new destroyer Haida in the store, along with other historical ships.

You will also be able to take part in a new campaign, titled Skyreaper from the Lowlands. This is quite a large five-week, 100-milestone campaign, but completing it will earn you a Premium Dutch Tier VII cruiser De Zeven Provinciën. This ship marks the arrival of the Netherlands to Legends and is decked out with a powerful airstrike, and the ability to raze any target to the ground, commanded by new recruit Karel Doorman.

The UEFA Euro 2024 is kicking off in June, and nothing quite unites the warring world like football. From June 10th the Goleador Championship web event will be starting to celebrate. By scoring goals on this, you can net yourself 24 T-shirt patches, consumable camouflage, and a permanent camouflage for Fiji.

June also brings about the arrival of two new Brawl seasons. These will contain special modifications such as upgraded main stats and buffed main batteries to bring about a change in tactical approaches. Fleet Battles will also be returning, pitting five-player divisions against each other in mass warfare for unique rewards.

World of Warships: Legends is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
