It is almost time for the eighth annual Summoners War World Arena Championship, with players able to stick their names down for the preliminaries until June 24th. Participants will be selected based on their in-game World Arena records from Season 28th and 29th and will take part in a best-of-five tournament.
The European Preliminaries are set to take place from August 3rd to the 10th, with 16 players taking part, whittling down to 4 who will advance to the regionals. If you are one of the lucky few, you will head to Berlin on September 21st for the European Regional Cup, where the top 3 will head to the World Finals.
August 31st to September 7th is when the Americas Preliminaries will take place, again a slog between 16 players leaving 4 left standing. Then, the America's Cup will take place in shining Las Vegas on October 12th with the top 3 heading to the Worlds, and the loser gambling away their sadness.
Asia is a bit fragmented, with 8 players per group with 1 headed to the Regional. SE Asia has August 2nd to 3rd, Korea is August 9th to 10th, Other in Asia is August 30th to 31st, and then Japan is September 6th to 7th. The Asia Pacific Cup will then take place in Vietnam on October 25th, with the top 3 again advancing.
On top of these battle royales, The Japan Open Qualifier will have 1 additional player heading straight to the finals, and the China Qualifier on August 16th will send 2 straight to the grand stage. Then it’s all eyes on Tokyo, as the big event kicks off November 8th, and will upgrade to a delightful best-of-seven style tournament.
