In the realm of classic Disney films, before they added Star Wars and Marvel, there are three films I would classify as their best; Nightmare Before Christmas, Lilo and Stitch, and, of course, Mulan. Luckily for those with similar tastes, Disney Dreamlight Valley has introduced a new world and characters into their land based on Mulan.

As one of the most kick-ass Disney Princesses, despite not being one but gloss over that, her being celebrated in Dreamlight Valley is both exciting and very long overdue. I mean they added Ariel first and all she did was cause problems for everyone and near-doomed an entire kingdom while Mulan saved a whole nation!

With Mulan comes a new realm inspired by the beloved film, which sounds like it will be a delightful eastern-themed area. You will be able to meet Fa Mulan herself and befriend her in a quest line that trains your strength, precision, and endurance. For those who miss the frankly hilarious lizard sidekick, you can also meet up with Mushu as he guides you through rebuilding the training camp.

If you are feeling fancy, the latest Star Path, Majesty and Magnolias, will last until August 7th and will see you facing off against an army of Night Thorns. It will be down to you to complete Dreamlight Duties to protect the Valley. Do so, and you will unlock a new Dreamy Style for Mulan.

Finally, you can partake in the new Mini Event; Memory Mania. Until July 10th, there will be an Inside Out 2-themed event to get involved with, which will see you collect Riley's belongings around the Valley to retrieve Core Memory Pieces. Complete enough and you will unlock emotion-themed Critters to mill about with.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available to download through the Apple Arcade. It will cost you $6.99 a month and will give you access to over 200 games, including Sneaky Sasquatch, Retro Bowl, and of course Dreamlight Valley.
