Blue Archive has released its latest event story, Basking in the Brilliance of Their Serenade, and it comes with a host of new recruits. A teacher comes from Kivotos to help Gehenna Academy throw a party for the century, but the night is packed with unforgettable twists and turns.

This story will consist of seven stages, and completing them will unlock the mystery-type striker Ibuki. Her EX skill increases ally attacks and recovers Ibukis’ own health, and her Normal skill debuffs enemy attacks and deals damage every 30 seconds. An excellent character to gain for free.

You will also be able to enjoy a new type of content called Field Exploration. Here, you will take control of the student Hina and visit a variety of locations, watch some stories, and complete quests to level up her Piano proficiency. Turn her into the next Mozart and you'll unlock rewards such as Pyroxenes and Ibuki’s Elephs.

In addition to this free character, there are three more available to recruit, which is the biggest influx of students I can recall. Makoto is the chairman of Gehenna Academy’s student council. She is a piercing-type student whose EX skill deals more damage with a higher amount of targets, perfect for an AOE expert.

Ako (Dress) us the Gehenna Prefect Teams Senior Administrator, now all dressed up. She is a Piercing Striker who can increase the Crit Rate and Damage of nearby allies. She will also accumulate a stack of Successful Protection for each ally aided, which increases her own attack, a lovely win-win.

Finally, Hina (Dress) is an Explosive Striker and serves a major role in this update, as well as featuring in the Fes recruitment starting July 30th. Her EX skill puts her in a Concentrated Shooting state for 10 seconds. This allows her to deal three devastating straight-line attacks that will destroy in foes in from of her.

Blue Archive is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
