It took about three years since it was announced, but Star Wars: Hunters is well and truly here, and is already debuting its second season. This update will introduce an iconic new battlefield, a handful of cosmetics, and perhaps most importantly, a new character to cause havoc with.

Star Wars: Hunters is a new arena shooter game in the same vein as those like Overwatch, where you choose a character inspired by the monolithic Star Wars franchise. These include the Mandalorian Aran Tal with his twin blasters, the Dark Side Assassin Rieve, and Utooni, the Jawa Scavengers.

Adding to this roster of characters this season is K-A0S, a KX-series droid. If you watched Star Wars: Rogue One or played Fallen Order, they are the big, black robots that swat you around like a fly. Suitably, K-A0S is a Tank class, which you would guess given that her arms are two giant shields.

As well as having fun blocking and bashing everyone with their shields, K-A0S also comes with her own seasonal Clash Event. She will go head-to-head with her rival, the equally hulking Wookie warrior Grozz. As much as we all love Wookies, we may have to beat them up with K-A0S for fame and glory.

The prequels have taken a fair bit of slack in the past for good reason, however, what they do boast are incredibly entertaining lightsaber battles. In particular, the Mustafar scene in Revenge of the Sith. You can now recreate that fight as Vadars Castle, inspired by Mustafar, is now available as a battleground.

It has been a pretty Empire-themed update so far, so let’s round off with something a little different; some Empire-themed cosmetics! In the store, as well as available to grab as ranked rewards, you can find these evil threads available for existing Hunters. The Dark Side always had the best designers.
