Since its announcement, I have been incredibly excited about XD Incs’ fantasy TRPG Sword of Convallaria, and it seems like I was not alone. It has only been one week, and I need to stress one, but the game has already been downloaded over five million times, and that is mind-blowing.

To celebrate this incredible start, XD will be sharing the love and hosting a special login reward event starting today and lasting until August 18th. If you log in for a total of seven days during this period you will receive ten Secret Fates to summon more allies to save Iria, as well as random Legendary Weapons to gear up with.

As well as revelling in the current success, XD is also looking toward the future, a five-million-strong future. Mid-September will see the arrival of a new major story update focusing on Spiral of Destinies, the single-player mode. Given that Convallaria has a pretty hefty story as it is, it’s good to see that XD is still planning to expand on the world. 

The developers say this story will deepen the world of Iria and its characters, so it feels possible this will be more side-quest stuff and world-building as opposed to more paths opening up. Either way, it is still quite exciting to already be expecting some big moves. 

Our final piece of good news comes in the form of accessibility. In what is being referred to as the “near future”, so not necessarily in this same update, we will be getting the option to change the spoken language of the game, with Japanese, Korean, and Chinese being added. Excellent for fans, and a sure-fire way to keep Convallaria growing at this exponential rate.
