For those that have never played the original, I pity you. Exploding Kittens is a card game where you have to avoid drawing the eponymous characters lest you be out of the game. There is a variety of cards to help you avoid these pesky kitties including Skips or forcing an opponent to draw multiple times but you must always be aware of those troublesome Nope cards preventing you from pulling off your actions.

There are two ways you can play here. A single-player mode against AI opponents crafting to your skill level so you have an even fight, or you can dive right into the real fun and compete against other players worldwide. Don’t worry though, as Avatars are customisable so you can stand out. Unless, of course,  you redeem the Most Valuable Kitten Outfit available for a limited time at launch. Everyone will be dressing in that.

A lot of the fun of Exploding Kittens is taunting your opponents as you place that deadly trap on the top of the deck. Yes, we all become toxic at novelty card games. You can bring the smack talk into this cyberspace thanks to a personalised set of emojis, so you can cause someone a nervous meltdown in your own special way.

Exploding Kitten 2 is available to download from the App Store and Google Play, but it will cost $4.99. To be fair, that's about a quarter the price of the actual game, so enjoy exploding those virtual cats at a discounted price.
