The latest update for Blue Archive has dropped and follows the Problem Solver 68 students taking on the kingpin of a massive organization. Don Arancino will have his hands full in From Opera 0068 with Love, and you will be able to recruit two incredibly powerful new students from the story.

Our first new character is Aru (Dress), the leader of Problem Solver 68. She comes packing a healing skill that cures the ally with the lowest HP every 50 seconds, which is always a nice little boost. Her EX Skill increases the Critical Damage of an ally for 30 seconds, and her Sub Skill grants her normal attacks a 30% chance to reduce the target's Critical Resistance. It's almost like they are setting her up as a partner for a critical hit character.

The second character, Kayoko (Dress), rather coincidentally, sports quite the critical hit-heavy kit. At the start of the battle, she will slip into Infiltration mode, which increases Critical Damage. It gets cancelled if she is attacked, but she will enter it again after 10 seconds, which is perfect for her EX Skill.

Shadow Shot deals some extremely high damage which also ignores defense. If Kayoko is in Infiltration Mode when it's used, then Shadow Shot is a guaranteed critical hit, but you will come out of the mode when cast. Her Passive Skill gives a flat boost to Critical Damage, and her Normal Skill is another Critical Damage boost for 16 seconds, which occurs every 25 seconds. In short, pair her with Aru and you’ll end everything in one shot.

To commemorate this update, Nexon will hold a special event until September 2nd. If you visit the event banner and watch the six episodes covering the daily goings on in Problem Solver 68, you will receive 200 Pyroxenes each. Some quick maths and that is 1,200 overall, not bad for a bit of popcorn time.
