Since being released, Pokemon Go has been speeding through the main game generations, and now we are up to the Switch as Galar comes to mobile. The newest season, Max Out, is beginning September 3rd, and is bringing with it all the best that Pokemon Sword and Shield has to offer. 

Let’s begin with the big news, really big; Dynamax is coming to Pokemon Go. Whilst nowhere near as good as Mega Evolutions - Mega Lucario for life - it is still exciting to unleash giant Pokemon of doom upon your opponent. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Wooloo, and for some reason, Skwovet will be the debut Dynamax characters in one-star raids.

There will be a Seasonal Special Research story that any Trainer can get involved in to introduce everyone to the new mechanic. If you knock these tasks out, you will be able to pick up the new Dynamax Band avatar item and more, which is pretty cool. You can pick up this Research for free from September 3rd to December 3rd.

Speaking of Research, Max Out is also bringing more Galarian Pokemon into Go, and you can grab your own Galarian partner for free. Pick from Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble, and your Postcard Book background will change to the Season to reflect them. Again, you can grab this Research free between the same dates as before.

Finally, for those real competitive Pokemon masters, the GO Battle League is back starting September 3rd. Everyone will get their end-of-season rewards and have their Ranks reset before diving in once more. You can take on the Psychic Cup, the Retro Cup, and more. You can also enter the season's Catch Cup and have your new Galarian catches take you to victory.
