Konami has announced the longest update name in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links, with the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! World Release & Massive Major Update Campaign launching now. Go Rush is the eighth series in the Yu-Gi-Oh banner, and I too have lost track of all of them. What we know for sure though, is this upgrade brings a lot of rewards.

Go Rush centres around Yudias Velgear, an alien from Velgear VIII of the Velgear Star Cluster who came to Earth to learn about Rush Dueling to save his planet. It makes you miss Kaiba and his elevator to space. Yudias works with his friends such as Yuamu Ohdo and Yuhi Ohdo, who we will no doubt see in this update.

In fact, simply log in and you can get your hands on a Character Unlock Ticket to pick up your favourite duelist, along with a Skill Ticket, UR.SR Ticket (RUSH)(Primsatic), and some gems. Continuing the free gear train, everyone will also be receiving the Dark Magician Chronicle Card (Aurora), because Konami forgot the Blue-Eyes White Dragon exists. 

When your dragon rage subsides you might think “What's a Chronicle card”? Well, it is part of the new eponymous feature whilst allows you to upgrade the rarity level of your cards. You can also pick up the new Crystal items through this commemorative campaign that allows you to activate Aurora on selected Chronicle Cards.

As well as Dark Magician, everyone will get an Ancient Gear Golem (OR Style/RUSH/PRismatic) and a huge list of extra gear. Rather excitingly, this includes two free Structure Deck Campaigns and two 10-pack + 1URs. You’ll also get 1,000 Gems, more Skill and Character Unlock Tickets, and a huge collection of UR and SR Tickets.
