Zenless Zone Zero might be receiving its biggest update to date, with Version 1.3 bursting at the seams. Virtual Revenge launches on November 6th, and as well as a new MSQ there will be two recruits, two Bangboos, two big gameplay modes, and expanded maps with new areas to explore.

You will be working with Section 6 to carry out orders from the Hollow Investigative Association, all very official sounding. At the same time, the Settlement Days celebration is about to kick off in the Outer Ring, so head over and have a good time. Finally, Special Episodes for Yanagi and Lighter will be available, with the latter featuring a side-scrolling mode.

To help you take on this new story there you can recruit two new S-Ranks. Yanagi is an Electric - Anomaly Agent who can ramp up Anomaly Building and increase the team’s Disorder damage. Her EX Special triggers extra Polarity Disorder to truly deal impressive damage.

Our second hero is Lighter who, as you might expect by the name, is a Fire - Stun Agent. He can build up Morale in a flash and stun enemies whilst lowering their Ice and Fire Resistance. When he hits a certain level of Morale, his skills get boosted. You can also pick up the A-level Bangboo Baddieboo and Knightboo.

With these new soldiers, you can tackle two added gameplay modes. The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault is a roguelike mode set across five chapters. You will encounter random Resonia and resources on the TV board and be offered a host of challenges to complete. Do so, and you will earn rewards, including Knightboo.

If you fancy taking on a gruelling onslaught of difficult foes, head to the Simulated Battle Trail. Set in a tower, you will face increasingly tougher foes the higher you reach Shoot for the skies and you can earn Polychromes and Bages to deploy on the Personal Homepage, along with the Titles added in Version 1.3.
