With Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket coming out recently I, like a lot of people out there, have been logging in, opening boosters, and trusting in the heart of the cards. To celebrate the release, the Pokemon Company International is hosting an interactive pop-up experience at Outernet London this weekend.
To be specific, on November 9th and 10th, you can head to the overrated capital of England for some free Pokefun. To start, you will be able to open a Genetic Apex booster pack on a giant digital screen in the Now Trending space. Whilst it would be cool to pull a shiny, special art on a huge TV, it sounds a little unappealing to be in that public view but hey, free booster pack.
If you have watched the new, Ash-less Pokemon Horizons series, you may have spotted a Pikachu with a ship captain's hat. Well, Captain Pikachu will be waddling around the New Pop 2 area, and you can take a picture with them in front of a Horizons backdrop.
Speaking of Pikachu variants, don your detective hat, head to the digital experience event space, and keep your eyes open. There will be a hidden, 4-diamond rarity Pikachu ex card kicking around to find. Either take a photo of this, or hand it to a member of staff, and you will receive a code for a Sitting Pikachu Poke Plush.
Now, some important things to note here. The code is used on PokemonCenter.co.uk, you need to make a purchase, and it needs shipping to a UK address. Also, there are only 2,000 codes so you need to be early. Finally, there is no way someone doesn't just pocket that card and walk off.
Outside of TCG Pocket, there are a few other Pokemon surprises going on. GO players go find special PokeStops and Time Researches scattered around, and there is a new Gigantamax trailer on show. For console fun Pokemon Scarlet, Violet, and Legends: Arceus will be available to play on Switch.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
