One of the most annoying parts of Genshin Impact has been the climbing for me. It is an incredibly slow process only made more frustrating by the stamina system. These quibbles are set to be alleviated somewhat this month with the arrival of Version 5.2, Tapestry of Spirit and Flame, and some new ways to explore.

In the newest Archon Quest, you will assist Natalan’s Flower-Feather Clan recover from Abyssal contamination alongside the Captain and Iansan. Or, ignore their plight and join Citali and Ororon in Masters of the Night-Wind. Here you will assemble woven scrolls, gather scattered spirits, and whack a few foes. Complete this and earn Primogems and the Calamity of Eshu 4-star sword.

This update will bring you to Ochkanatlan, a lost ancient city northwest of the Flower-Feather Clan. It is now ravaged by Abyssal contamination, patrolled by a fierce dragon, and even worse, multi-story. Luckily, you can recruit two new exploration masters to help explore, as well as a new friend Cocouik who will help clear the contamination.

Our first mode of transportation is the 5-star Anemo bow-wielder Chaca. Using her Soulsniper, she can float and attack mid-air, which is useful for both combat and exploration. She can fire multi-elemental bullets depending on the elements of her teammates, which makes her perfect to help with combos. Defeating enemies with her in the party also restores Phlogiston, just as an added bonus.

Ororon is a 4-star Electro bow-wielder who will accumulate Nightsoul Points when teammates either trigger Nightsoul Burst, or Electro or Hydro damage is dealt after using his Elemental Skill. He will enter Nightsoul’s Blessing when an enemy is hit by an Electro-reaction or Nightsoul attack. Ororon can also summon the Supersonic Oculus to taunt enemies. Outside battles, he is gifted at extracting power from graffiti and runes when charging Aimed Shots and boosts the team’s gliding speed.

Finally, there will be two new Saurians will also be added. Qucusaurs can glide long distances or use phlogiston to climb higher, roll, or accelerate during flight. On the other hand, Iktomisaurs can bound high into the sky, and can also detect hidden objects. Try them out by downloading Genshin Impact from the App Store and Google Play now. Version 5.2 lands November 20th.
