When you think about high-octane, action-packed kart races there is of course only one franchise that comes to mind; The Smurfs. Nexon are teaming up with this obvious choice for a collaboration with their hit racer title KarRider Rush+, just in time for Season 29.

Named Extra Icy, this update perfectly encapsulates the recent experience all drivers are having when they come out to their car popsicle in the morning. And somewhat speaking of frozen vehicles, there are a few special Highlight Karts to pick up. The Golden Storm Blade, the Snow Sredder, the Stinger, and the amazingly named Husky Sleigh are all available to collect.

After hopping behind the wheel of your chosen Husky Sleigh, you can hit the new Winter Training Camp (Ice) course, mastering the slippy terrain. It has also been confirmed that two further maps will be added shortly; the Glacier Gulch (Ice), and Moonlit Circuit (China), just in case you were getting too chilly.

Rounding out your racing revamp are new playable characters such as Raptor R, Snowman Ethen, and Artic Bazzi. As for general improvements, you will notice the friend list limit has increased from 200 to 300. Of course, this is all just the general KartRider Rush+ update content. We still have The Smurfs to tackle. 

The collaboration is currently ongoing and will give you a chance to pick up exclusive cross-over items. Completing missions before December 8th will reward you with items such as the Smurfette Dritmoji (Perm), Jokey Smurf Balloon, and more. The big Smurfit Outfit Set (M/F) itself will be available until December 20th to make sure you don’t miss it.

If you are lucky to earn a few more Turbo Crystels, there are 10,000 still available to grab before November 30th. You just need to participate in specific races a certain number of times. So, download KartRider Rush+ now from the App Store and Google Play before you miss out.
