Honkai: Star Rail continues with its aversion to new areas, as Version 2.7 keeps playing in familiar surroundings. A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn will see the Astral Express crew prepare to finally enter the Eternal Land, Amphoreus, as Sunday returns to Penacony for one last show.
Making his combat debut, Sunday is a 5-star Imaginary character who excels in support. His skill increases an ally's attack and lets them attack immediately, and his Ultimate will bestow The Beautified on an ally. Not only does this add a halo, it boosts their CRIT DMG, and restores their energy.
Our second hero - who I am more personally excited for - is Fugue. This 5-star Fire character is perfect for a break team, inflicting enemies with Cloudflame Lyster. When this effect is reduced, the target takes more weakness Break DMG. She also empowers teammates to deal that delightful Super Break DMG on Weakness Broken target.
If you missed recruiting Firefly, one of the key components of a break squad, then you are in luck. She will be returning in the second half of Version 2.7's Warps. Jing Yuan will take the first half, and he too is quite the formidable foe when he wields the power of a thunder god. Can’t go wrong with either.
Since starting Star Rail everyone asked themselves one question; where does the Trailblazer sleep? We finally have the answer, along with the introduction of a Party Car. This new area allows you to enjoy a drink with the crew, or sit back and relax. Otherwise, head to the Trailblazer's new room, an empty storage room you can customise with Express Funds, adding furniture and even areas like a bedroom or bathroom.
Finally, a trio of tidbits. Version 3.0 will introduce the Path of Remembrance, a combat style centered on summoning memosprites. This same update also adds the ability to pick both a Relic’s Main and Sub Stats during synthesis, which is huge. Finally, until the end of Version 3.2, you can claim the Gift of the Express, allowing you to select one regular 5-star character.
