HAEGIN has recently announced the arrival of a new batter to add to your lineups in Homerun Class 2: Legends Derby. To say they are a game-changer is a bit of an understatement; I foresee this particular recruit being a mainstay in everyone's roster.

Our new batter goes by the name of Merry Gold and looks to have been modelled after Marilyn Monroe if she had swapped to a career in the major leagues. Further cementing the similarities, she is packing a Unique Ability called Hollywood, which is guaranteed to get her a place on anyone's team.

Holywood allows additional combos to accumulate whilst it is active, or in other words, you are going to have a window in which to absolutely skyrocket your score. If you are someone who longs to sit at the top of a leaderboard then Merry Gold will be the one for you. I am sure everyone else gunning for the top place will have her already.

What if you recruit Merry, but then decide that a baseball field is no place for a fancy dress? You might be in luck already, thanks to the Skin system. Serial gamers will know how this works but let's recap; this gives you the chance to change the appearance of batters. It is separate from equipment, and purchasing multiple Skins will accumulate points that trigger a variety of buffs. 

Finally, with all your new and improved teamsheets, you can try to master the Mega Chance skill. This gives you the chance to hit a Called Shot Home Run towards a unit area to potentially score massive points. You can also new equip Keep skills, which are in essence stronger versions of the existing Defense skills.
