Usually in stealth games that involve the unceremonious deletion of targets, you are the one doing the removal, or getting the tables turned. Serial Cleaner places you in a completely different angle to this situation; coming in as a crime scene cleaner to remove the evidence of nefarious crimes. And with a mobile version landing early next year, you can enjoy some portable cleansing.
It is the 1970s and mob hits are rife all across the city. You are a contract cleaner, sent in to remove all traces of these totally legitimate business transactions that just happen to make a little mess. The problem is that the police are all over these scenes, and you don’t want that level of heat.
You will need to watch the roaming coppers, stick to the shadows, and sneak past everyone with your trusty bucket and sponge in hand. It is an amusing thought of your tools clanging around as you slip past an oblivious policeman. Interestingly, Serial Cleaner has some pretty nifty AI to deal with as you go about your sneaky cleaning.
As you clean the scenes, removing bloodstains and bodies, the police will start to notice that something is not right. You will need to time your actions perfectly and leave yourself enough time and a safe route to hide as they start to search for you.
You will enjoy this novel approach to stealth games with the backing of a 70s soundtrack, perfect for the atmosphere of the time. There will be some jazzy and bouncing tunes to vibe with to keep the mood light as you fix another of Three Fingered Jimmy's messes. The visual side of Serial Cleaners is also a treat, again perfectly fitting the 70s style. Influenced by the pop culture of the time, you will enjoy some bright, saturated colours with geometric shapes and a minimalist design.
Serial Cleaners will be available to download in early 2025, with pre-orders available on the App Store and Google Play.
