I realise that I mention the weather a lot, and I will continue you too. I am British, it is our national sport. To wit; Christmas may be over but the cold is sure as hell still here, and it continues to invade Play Together, as the icy horror spreads.

Aurora the Ice Queen, watcher of the North Pole, has started to lose control of her powers, and as a result, massive glaciers are appearing on Kaira Island. Luckily, cracking these fellas open will allow you to collect the Aurora Gems and Glacier Dies’ within. These contain fragments of the queen’s power, and it is up to you to gather enough to restore Auroras’ power.

You could also use the Aurora Gems to craft winter items at the workshop, or you can roll the Glacier Dice and play the board game event. Make your way around this and you can collect currency, Gems, and Glacier Die Boxs’. The latter might earn you winter items or part of the Aurora the Ice Queen costume set.

If you are lacking pets, head over to the Plaza area and speak to Yuri, owner of the Glacier Event Workshop. Here you can craft four pets; the Snowflake Penguin, Snowflake Wolf, Snowflake Fox, and the Snowflake Chipmunk. To that, I ask what on earth does a Chipmunk have to do with Christmas? Either way, you can also pick up items such as the Snowflake Penguin Sweater through a seven-day attendance event.

Looking ahead to the near future, Haegin has confirmed there will be a New Year Event for 2025. Haru is currently kicking around in the Plaza and is giving away a free 2025 Hat, and will sell other themed items. On the 31st there will be a countdown event, culminating in a giant fireworks display at midnight.
