If you ever watched any media featuring a ninja and thought to yourself, I wonder how they would cope with being shot at, Free Fire will soon offer the answer. The Garena smash hit will crossover with the legendary Naruto series from January 10th to February 9th.

Booting up a battle royale match in Bermuda will spawn you in the Hidden Leaf Village, where Rim Nam Village is located. You will be able to explore a multitude of popular locations from the franchise, such as the Hokage Rock, Ichiraku Ramen Shop, and even Naruto’s house.

After your tourism has ended, you will be shunted onto an aeroplane as the match starts. As you prepare to parachute, the mighty Nine Tails will appear and strike one of three places; the plane, arsenal, or ground. Depending on their choice there will be different events taking place, adding a nice new spin to each round.

If, or rather when, you perish during a match, the revival sequence will be replaced with the Summoning Reanimation Jutsu. During the event, you will also receive stronger default equipment than usual. Clash Squad mode will include Ninjustu Scroll Airdrops, and both game types will feature Justsu-related moves.

Now for the shiny bits; collaboration items. You can pick up the Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Jiraius bundles for male characters, with females being able to grab Sakura. Bit of a let day but there you go. There is also a host of weapons and emotes, with the game's first Super Emote; Gamabunta Summoning. It can only be used in non-battle situations though, so no squishing foes with a giant frog.

In addition to all this collectable goodness, you can get some excellent rewards through completing missions. The highlight is the Jiraiya bundle and Naruto Battle Card, but you can also grab the Rock Lee headwear if you have zero fashion sense. Finally, players can win a Sasuke bundle by clearing event missions.

Free Fire is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
