I have yet to personally play Solo Leveling: Arise, my mobile gaming time is taken up with mostly Wuthering Waves and Pokemon TCG Pocket. However, I do know about it, and I was pretty surprised to hear that Netmarble has announced its first global championship, which seemed strange for a single-player title.
Last year Korea hosted two offline tournaments as evidenced by the video below, and the solution for how to compete in a game like this was, of course, time attacks. I am awful at these types of challenges, however, you can’t deny that the footage shows quite the electric atmosphere for these tournaments.
The Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025 will pit competitors against one another in the Battlefield of Time, to see who can clear the boss the fastest, obviously. Right now we have frustratingly little information on the specifics, but if we can get that level of excitement on a global scale then it will be magical.
There is an official website already live which will provide detailed information about qualifications to enter the preliminary round and all other very useful information. The key word there is will. Right now you will just find yourself staring at an emblem and some spinning circles.
Netmarble did announce one piece of solid information though. The grand final for the SLC 2025 will take place offline in Korea itself. It is a glorious time when being skilled at games can take you around the world, but it does make me curse my clumsy reflexes. When will Square Enix host a Triple Triad tournament?
Solo Leveling: Arise is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. Version 3.0 launched in December, so it is a great time to get involved as it includes story elements from the very popular Jeju Island arc.
