I am never sure how to feel when a company has a collaboration with itself, especially when it is the same series. On the one hand, it is great, free gear, but on the other, it just feels a little off somehow. Anyway, all that to see Monster Hunter Now will be hosting a collab event with Monster Hunter Wilds.
This semi-crossover will be kicking off on February 3rd and will run right through until March 31st. Monster Hunter Wilds itself releases on February 28th on PC and console. This is important because the limited-times quest rewards in Now also include a gift code for Wilds.
Simply slap around a few large monsters in Monster Hunter Now to complete a few limited quests and you will find yourself showered with rewards. This includes an MG Wilds Hoodie, a Guild Card background, Weapon and Armor Refinding Parts, and the aforementioned code. To reap its rewards, you need to tap on the Gift Code option after completing the quests to generate it.
Do this, pop the code into your copy of Monster Hunter Wilds on whatever platform you choose, and you can kickstart your mainline story with items such as Well-done Steaks, Mega Potions, Dash Juices, and more. It is very much worth noting the developers say quantities are limited, so act fast. How are they limited when it's just data, who knows?
If you are reading this thinking, “But I only care about Monster Hunter Now” then good news! Starting February 3rd you can get a host of supply items simply for logging in. There are four supplies, taking place on the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th. Each drop includes Potions, Weapon and Armor Refining Parts, and Item Box Expansion totalling 800 spaces.
Monster Hunter Now is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
