After god knows how much build-up, Warframe released the 1999 update back in December, and it was then that I foolishly thought my poor heart could rest. I was wrong, however, as there were further updates, and now, the announcements that ticket sales have opened for TennoCon 2025.
The TennoCon last year marked the first time the event went across two days, and it was incredibly good fun to attend. There was a host of events to take part in, stalls to check out, and interesting panels to attend. I anticipate this year to be even better, as not only is it another two-day event, but it is also 10 years of TennCons.
Each year the convention chooses a charity partner to benefit, and 2025 will be teaming with Make-A-Wish Canada. It is an organisation that doesn’t really need introducing but just in case, they provide children with critical illnesses a chance to realise their wildest dreams. A very worthy cause.
As for the convention itself, the fun will kick off July 18th, with early merch sales, autograph signings, and a cosplay contest. The main event, event, will be the debut TennoConcert in Canada Life Place. There will be performances from across Warframes’ 12-year lifespan, and hopefully include Party of Your Lifetime. It remains amazing.
After this musical extravaganza on July 19th, there will be panels dedicated to art and music, alongside more autograph opportunities. Soulframe will be popping up with its own sections, culminating with TennoLive, the annual hit keynote. Here we will find out about all the incredible content the upcoming Devstreams will be teasing in the build-up.
There are multiple tiers of tickets to pick from, starting with the $50 CAD General Administration. You can pick up the collector Pack Add-On for $25 CAD which includes a lanyard, badge, and t-shirt. VIP Tickets will grant early access, VIP seating for panels TennoConcert and more for $150 CAD. Finally, for the most dedicated, there are two Legendary Tickets for $1,000 CAD, including a 1-on-1 dev Q&A, a studio tour, and an in-game voice recording session.
Warframe is available to download from the App Store, and you can buy your tickets on the official event website.
