Fans of Blue Archive are in for some fun times in this latest update, not least because of a new character with an EX skill that lets you really control the battlefield. Radiant Moon, Raucous Dream introduces two recruits, a fresh story, as well as a handful of events.

As always the most interesting part of these updates is the new ways to rain hell down upon your foes. Let’s first take a look at Mariana (Qiapo). Her EX attack deals damage based on her ATK, in addition to inflicting a Poison DoT. What’s more, Marianas’ sub-skill has her deal more normal attack damage to poisoned foes, just to pile on the pressure afterwards.

Moving away from debuffing to support, Tomoe (Qipao) has an incredibly interesting EX Skill. She can relocate up to five allies or enemies within a circular area, which I hope includes “off a roof” cos that would be funny. She also casts a barrier and grants one Flyer for each ally, or if they are enemies, decreases their defence. A multiple-purpose tool that opens up a lot of tactics.

The event story for Radiant Moon, Raucous Dream can be accessed by anyone who has cleared Mission 2-3 on Normal, complete with some fantastic rewards for clearing. For those looking for a bit of combat, you are also covered. Final Restriction Release has 124 Stages complete with a Light Armored boss on the Field Warfare terrain.
