With the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game still fresh in our minds, Gameloft’s announcement of its new endless-runner Spider-Man Unlimited came as a bit of a shock. While 'runner' is certainly the easiest shorthand for this new Spidey game, a more accurate description of the action would be endless-swinging-crawling-punch-and-runner. Gameloft’s run of Marvel movie tie-ins continues with The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the new web-slinging brawler which has just swung onto the App store. As usual, you play as Peter Parker's costumed alter-ego as he swings around the streets of New York, getting into fights with thugs and super villains. Naturally, you'll go toe-to-toe with the film’s main antagonists Electro and Green Goblin, while also taking a deeper dive into Spider-Man lore to to battle the likes of Black Cat and Screwball.
